PURDUE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY is a unique partnership between education, business/industry and government, formed to meeting Indiana’s need for trained technologists and technicians. The School of Technology provides the trained staff for the technical course and the laboratory equipment. Local public and private institutions provide support courses, services and facilities. Purdue University College of Technology is located 2705 Enterprise Drive.

PUBLIC SCHOOLS:

ANDERSON COMMUNITY SCHOOL SYSTEM includes two high schools (Anderson & Highland), two middle schools (North Side & East Side), and nine elementary schools. Offices are located 101 West 29th Street.

Each middle school serves as a feeder school to one of the high schools: North Side to Anderson & Highland, East Side to Highland. The middle schools of Anderson Community Schools include the 6th grade and are viewed as a unique division in a total school program and through which students move steadily from kindergarten to graduation from secondary schools.

The curriculum is considered uniquely suited to the students and the community. A required program of general education enables each student to experience those common teachings, which are considered essential for effective living in American society. A broad program of specialized education supports the general education program, offers wide opportunity for exploration and perhaps, certain possibility of study in depth.
